John is a joint Managing Director of Lafferty with experience in the Property and Construction sectors.
He has played a significant role in the delivery of landmark projects including Dundrum Town Centre and the Bord Gais Energy Theatre. John brings a particular expertise in managing key project interfaces and relationships, ensuring good communication and collaboration across the project team, focused on delivery of best value for money, quality and commercial success based on agreed client objectives.
John has an industry reputation in the selection, appointment and management of large project teams and he has particular skills in establishing effective project structure and project execution plans.

Colin is a Director of Lafferty with design, project management and construction experience. He has worked on major projects in Europe, the UK and Ireland during his professional career.
Colin has vast experience over a long period in commercial, health, education, retail and leisure sectors. He has specific experience in urban regeneration projects, a number of which have incorporated protected structures. His experience also includes projects procured under EU directives and prestigious fit-out contracts.
Colin has particular strengths in the role of Client Representative, in establishing business goals and objectives and developing strategies for the delivery of construction and related projects. He also can provide skills in the selection of an appropriate project team, establishing the Client brief, interfacing with Landlord and Tenant legal advisors and co-ordination of design and construction activities to project completion.

Rory is a Director of Lafferty Project Managers with project management, construction management, engineering and quantity surveying experience.
Rory has experience working on major projects ranging in value from €50m upwards to €500m on retail, commercial, leisure, residential office fit-out and pharmaceutical developments.
Rory brings a particular expertise in planning, project controls and design programme management ensuring information flow to meet on-site construction programme requirements. Rory also brings a particular expertise in overall co-ordination of end-user requirements with the core project to ensure value for money, quality and commercial success for our clients and ultimate end-users.

Garret is a Director of Lafferty Project Managers with over 20 years’ experience in the Irish and UK Construction and Property industry.
He has managed both the design and construction of large commercial projects having worked for Main Contractors, Project Quantity Surveyor and as Developer/ Client Representative. He has successfully procured and managed numerous design teams and delivered a number of high profile projects through to completion.
Garret has delivered projects such as Grant Thornton, IDA HQ, Stillorgan Village, The Shelbourne Hotel, Lidl Head Office and the Dylan Hotel. Garret has proven problem solving skills with the unique experience of delivering large scale projects from main contractor, QS and client PM perspectives.

Donal has extensive experience in the Hotel and Leisure, Education, Commercial, Arts & Culture sectors. Donal completed the client side Project Management role on the retro-fit of Base Isolation & Earthquake repair to the Christchurch Art Gallery in New Zealand – a globally award nominated Design & Build project.

Richard is an Associate Director of Lafferty Project Managers. Richard has substantial experience in both office fit-out and shell and core projects. With a Mechanical Engineering background Richard has also carried out the role of MEP/Facilities Project Manager on large scale projects such as Grand Canal Theatre and Commercial Offices Development and Dublin Central.
Richard has particular skills in building services, utilities and telecoms, and together with a wide ranging project management experience, can add value to a project at all stages.

Having previously worked on international projects in both Sydney and London, David has played a lead role in the management of large scale commercial fit-out, hotel developments and remediation works.

Max Duffy

Max is an experienced Surveyor with a background in valuations and commercial agency. Previous experience included working for a large multi-national real estate firm where he specialised in providing strategic investment and advisory advice to institutions, private investors, property companies and syndicates in respect of all aspects of commercial property investment.
In his previous role Max managed a property and development land portfolio for one of Ireland’s largest Property Developers with assets in Ireland, UK and USA. Max holds a BA in Economics (UCD), a MSc Real Estate (DIT) and a Diploma in Project Management (TCD).

Karl Coughlan is an Associate Director of Lafferty Project Managers and is a Chartered Project Management Surveyor with twenty years’ experience in New Zealand, Ireland and Australia.
He has successfully led multi-disciplinary teams through inception, design, planning procurement and implementation phases for both private and public sector clients. Some of his recent projects are residential & retail orientated however previously have been seconded into commercial client organisations to manage projects within the housing, aviation, manufacturing and health sectors.
Karl has a proven ability to successfully deliver challenging projects within live operating environments and on fast track construction projects.

He has recently been involved as Project Manager for a partially completed mixed use development of Retail, Office, Hotel and PRS Residential comprising 8 blocks, consisting of 350 apartment units, 5,990sqm office space, 252 bedroom hotel and 9,500sqm of basement over two levels accommodating estimated 395 car parking spaces.

Jacinta has recently completed her Master of Science in BIM and Project Management and will be graduating in 2019.

Shane is an Associate Director of Lafferty Project Managers specialising in retail and mixed use developments and retail fit-out. Shane has extensive experience in his role as he was the lead fit-out Project Manager for the Dundrum Town Centre and The Square Shopping Centre, Tallaght.
Shane is responsible for the daily operation of projects under his supervision including management and coordination with clients, consultants, contractors, and the project team to ensure successful completion that is within budget and adheres to time constraints.
Shane focuses on best practice execution of large projects and programs. He forms highly professional and collaborative relationships with his clients, and has also created systems and procedures stream lining the programme management retail process.

Louise has played a significant role from concept, financial and technical feasibility, design and planning to construction and delivery of projects in Dublin and London across a range of sectors including commercial, office fit out, retail, residential, healthcare and mixed use schemes. She has worked on a number of high profile commercial developments including Canary Wharf and More London in the UK and on schemes ranging in value from €10 million to over €70 million. Louise, with an engineering background has worked as a consultant, contractor, developer and client and this experience gives insight and understanding of each perspective. Louise has an organised, structured and collaborative approach to projects.
Louise has recently completed a number of significant project in Dublin for clients including ESB, Fidelity Investments and Marketo.

A qualified interior designer, Paula has most recently worked internationally for fortune 500 corporation, PVH, as a project manager, expanding the store portfolio for the brands Tommy Hilfiger and Calvin Klein.
Previous experience working on large scale retail developments, acting on behalf of the developer, including Dundrum Town Centre and Bridgewater Centre in Arklow, Paula has gained a strong specialty in retail project delivery.

Bernie is also a member of the Board of the DCU Educational Trust, Benefacts and is a Trustee of DCU. She holds a BComm, MBA and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.
