In 2013, Yahoo! appointed Lafferty to project manage the office fit out of their new EMEA Headquarters over levels 5, 6 and 7 of Point Village Offices, Dublin

With a mix of open plan, ancillary spaces and canteen across three levels, this stunning fit-out involved detailed design co-ordination with US stakeholders including client direct subcontractors. The client required a phased occupation of levels beginning in December 2014 and culminating in overall occupation in February 2015. This necessitated delivery of a demanding and complex work programme - a challenge Lafferty thrived on.

Lafferty's experience in cost consultancy and due diligence processes added significant value to this project through careful management of international stakeholders and client direct subcontractors as well as lease agreement negotiations. This challenging programme was delivered in line with the client's specifications and agreed occupation dates.

The delivery of our new EMEA headquarters was a challenging project. Time was tight, occupancy was phased and stakeholders from both sides of the Atlantic were involved throughout. Thankfully Lafferty weren’t intimated by the challenge and simply set to work, managing the various strands of the project, delivering what they promised, when they promised it. The premises were completed to our specification by the dates agreed and there’s no doubt that the clarity and outcome-focused attitude brought by the team at Lafferty was central to achieving this.
